"Right this way," Tamaki smiled, holding the door open for Xion. When he saw the picnic's spread, though, his smile brightened. When Mindy had talked about a picnic, he hadn't imagined she'd have put together anything quite like this.

"Sorry sorry" He got off and helped her up. Once she was sitting up, he ran his thumb over the corner of her lips where he had managed to get some of her ice cream smeared.

"i can't help it when you're so cute."

This time when her eyes caught his, they didn't move, and her expression faded into something somewhat blank. It wasn't because the situation was bothering her, or that she suddenly became uncomfortable. She was just...puzzled. Puzzled by this feeling. More than anything else, she just wanted to kiss him. Nothing special, no grandiose act of affection. All she wanted was to lean forward and peck her lips against his. The longer she stared, the more pink her cheeks became.

So she opened her mouth to talk, but nothing at all could come out. It was like she was stuck in between they way there were a minute ago, and the way she wanted to be. Kissing him.

In between like this, she didn't have any lines.

He reached out and touched some of her hair. "Your hair has grown some since I first met you. I like it."

Xion moved a little closer, only about an inch away from his face. "I thought...you said not to ever change it," a sly smile formed on her face.

"Short or long, it'll look good either way." He moved away from her then, fumbling through the inner pockets of his blazer. When whatever he was looking for wasn't in his breast pocket, all the happiness in his face disappeared and he took off his blazer, searching through all the pockets.

"No! No, it's gone!"

"Huh?" She approached him again. "What? What is it? What's missing?"

"Your-" He covered his mouth quickly. "It's a surprise. Well it was going to be a surprise." He turned and started to search the nearby grass.

"You...got me something?"

[daddysaysno]

"Forget you heard that." He turned in his grass searching, butt in the air as he combed through the green blades for hints of gold

Xion quickly gets up and walks around him to kneel in front of him.

"Hey," she cups his face in her hands, trying to look him in the eyes. "It's okay."

he touched her hand before sitting up and taking her hands into his. "I wish I could. This thing was really important."

"You'll find it," she grips his hands tightly. "But until you do, there's no rush.

Okay?"

"You're right. How rude of me, letting this ruin our picnic." He smiled and handed her her plate, even though he was still panicking inside.

"Cheer up, Tamaki," and then, out of impulse or instinct, she took her arms around his neck and pulled his face close, kissing him on the cheek.

"For me?"

He blushed brightly before smiling. "Of course." Gently, he took one of her hands and kissed the back of it. "If it's what you want."
