[Suki needed a break. She loved Remus, but she couldn't take the babying much longer. Yeah, she was heartbroken, but she was a big girl too. If there was one thing she knew how to do it was taking care of herself. Remus may be worried about her, but she needed time to herself too, just to think about everything going on.

Once she found a tree, she took a seat and brought her knees to her chest right away and hugged them. There was nothing wrong with being depressed every now and then, so why couldn't Suki feel it right now.]

[With his nose to the lovely grass Padfoot was enjoying the sensation of tracing all of Hana's tracks that had been made while they were gone. It had taken him all over the biodome and he'd almost lost it a few times over the river but he managed to find it again.

So it's a slightly wet dog that catches a whiff of Suki and he lopes over to her rather happily. He plops his butt down next to her and turns silver eyes to look up at her. A head-tilt accompanied with perked ears would make him seem curious as to her saddened state.]

[The dog surprised Suki.]

Where did you--?

[She began to look around, seeing if the dog actually belonged to anyone, and if he's owner was around, but no one was in sight. So she looked back at the dog and placed a welcoming hand on his head.]

Hey there. Were you looking for someone?

[Suki begins to stroke his fur.]

[Padfoot doesn't seem to be looking for anyone in particular, just reacquainting himself with the smells of the biodome and its resident deer by sniffing around.

Still he seems to enjoy the pettings and even gives her hand a few licks before settling down beside her completely.]

[James has been lying on his bed all day, feeling terrible. He doesn't even know what to think, and hasn't spoken to anyone all day, not yet. He can't say anything. Lily's gone. Terminated. He read what that means. She's dead]

[Even as Padfoot he knew that his best mate was depressed. After six years he'd gotten the love of his life to sort-of date him and now she was gone. Whether Sirius believed that it meant Lily was dead was still up in the air for debate.

Still, his sharp nose catches James' scent and hunts it down even though he knows where his friend was. With a little jump Padfoot is on the bed and flopping down to lay beside James, placing his head on James' chest. He whines a little attempting to comfort the other.]

[James sighs, his hand ruffling Padfoot's fur. He's glad Padfoot can't talk, he really doesn't think he's up for that yet]

[The fact that Lily was gone and several of his friends were depressed is exactly why he's going to spend as much time as possible as Padfoot this week. People don't want to be crowded with words of reassurance and would rather have just the phsyical comfort and this was a sure way to make sure he didn't talk. When he was human then they could break out the alcohol and drown James' sorrow in the bottom of the barrel - so to speak.

There's an echoing doggie sigh and he presses his cold, wet nose into James' arm in a sort of comforting way. He lets his eyes drift close but he isn't sleeping even though it gives the illusion he is.]

[Harry was wandering through the biodome, humming a little tune as he went, trying to get Hazard accustomed to his new home. The little dog, for his part, was trying to smell everything at once, amazed at how new everything was, and generally bouncing and being a little fluffball. When he catches Padfoot's scent, he tugs madly at Harry's makeshift leash, jumping up on two paws at the end of it and barking happily.]

[Padfoot had no leash, and had been playing by himself in the biodome which consisted of stirring up grass with his feet before chasing after it. The scent of a new dog is in the air and he catches it long before he hears Hazard's barking.

Turning with both ears perked Padfoot looks at the pair in the distance. A moment of what could be debating with himself before he trots over to really greet the dog and his master.]

[Despite the pup's obvious interest, Harry's a little leery of the really big dog that just popped up. He pulls Hazard in a bit, standing protectively close to the tiny dog, holding out one of his long arms to let the dog get his scent before letting him get too close to Hazard. The little dog, on the other hand, tried all the harder to escape his confinement, bouncing excitedly at the prospect of yet another new friend, his 14,281,203rd this week, counting all his more dull friends, which tended to be inanimate objects that never wanted to play.]

[As he should be leery considering Padfoot is the size of a large German Shepard and often used his appearance to scare people as the Grim. Still, it's not a necessary thing here seeing as how a lot of the residents here were not even aware of what a Grim was.

Silver eyes are locked on the little dog and all of that exploding eagerness before looking up to the offered hand of his master. That fluffy tail wags as if to show that he was indeed friendly and had no hostile intent and rather than just sniffing there's a pink tongue licking Harry's fingers.]

[natsuo is walking down the hall when he spots the big dog. His very fluffy cat tail waves curiously behind him.]

A dog, huh?

[and his ears are perked up too]

Come here. [he tries to waves you over, big dog]

[It's a cat. It's a cat. It's a cat!

Like most dogs he's not really fond of cats but the fact that Natsuo also smells like a human makes it a little better. The greeting and command are enough to at least make Padfoot stop his exploration and give the boy a curious look.]

Natsuo rolls his eyes]

What's wrong dog? [and his ears twitch] I'm not a cat, so it's okay. But if you try to bite me I'll hurt you. [little grin] But come here.

[Misaka spots the dog, though is hesitant to approach. She knows her electromagnetic field is off putting to animals (after all, no one wants to be near something uncomfortable, and its probably something like constantly being flicked), she'll instead crouch down, wrapping her arms around her legs to watch the dog go about its business.

She does want to pet the dog, but. She doesn't want to cause it discomfort, and is instead content to watch it. Slightly, anyways.]

[Thankfully he's not a normal dog seeing as how the flicking might just make an animal turn tail and run for self-preservation. Rather Padfoot is curious about the invisible symptoms that seem to be radiating from this girl and draws closer very slowly as if testing to see if it gets worse.

Finally he stops right and front of her to promptly plop his butt down on the ground. Both ears are perked and he tilts his head to look at Misaka.]

'Surely you are bothered by the electromagnetic field,' Misaka states, positive, yet curious as to why would come this close.

[She hesitantly offers her hand to the dog, not sure just how good of an idea that is.]
