Darc paused in his pacing as soon as he heard the knock, and as Kharg had suspected, he made no complaint when his brother entered without knocking. He looked tense and concerned, his expression hard and fixed in an attempt to hide the abject worry that lurked just beneath the surface. Izaya's injuries were severe, and he was surprised the human had managed to last through two days with no medical atention without dying. It further proved to him just how tenacious his mate really was, and he was eternally grateful for that. He would never have forgiven himself if Izaya had died and he had been unable to protect him.

He barely registered the fact that Kharg had returned to his 'normal' scale-less state - his brother's appearance was not one of his top priorities at that moment in time - instead motioning to the bed where Izaya was currently lying.

"He's here..."

Kharg nodded to Darc once as he walked in, attention immediately snapping to Izaya, expression immediately blanking over to hide his shock over the severity of the injuries. One had to admire Izaya for surviving this long without any treatment, considering what he could see. For a human, he was quite resilient, no wonder Darc liked him.

"You weren't kidding when you said it was bad." Kharg stated, sitting on the bed beside Izaya, a frown appearing on his face as he starts pulling gauze out of his medkit, noting that one arm was broken, and that it looked like his collarbone might be as well. There were probably even more injuries hiding beneath his clothing.

He glanced at Darc, setting the kit on the bed as he worked on setting Izaya's arm back into place. "Help me bandage him up."

Darc paced around a little as his twin moved to sit beside the human, his posture tense and his am folded tightly over his chest. For all that he was trying to hide it, worry was clearly evident in Darc's bearing; he was more than a little shaken and shocked to have found his mate in this kind of state, and the panic had yet to subside, even though he knew Izaya would survive this now he had a healer to tend to him.

He nodded silently when Kharg asked him for help, moving over to the bed himself, his own expression hardening a little further on having to set eyes on the mess that had been made of his human...

Kharg's frown increased with every wound he bandaged, wondering what in the hell had happened to Izaya. This wasn't something that would be caused by a fall. He pushed his questions aside for the moment, focusing on his work, running his hand over the back of Izaya's head to check for anything he might have missed once the majority of the injuries had been bandaged up, and the broken bones set into place and kept there with make-shift splints. He found a spot that seemed like it was sore, but it probably wasn't anything to worry about.

Satisfied that the job was done, he closed his eyes, gathering the energy for 'Vital Energy', taking a deep breath before releasing it, muttering the incantation. Rainbow light swirled around them, healing his lingering aches from the F3 trip, and halfway healing Izaya's injuries. Eyes opening to look at Darc, he frowned. "You should probably keep him in bed a while, just in case..."
