You could still be a badass while checking up on two little girls who you've more or less taken responsibility for, right?

Yeah, no. Totally. You absolutely could.

Which is the thought process going through Lucas' head as he carefully navigates his way through the halls to get to Jade and Nepeta's suite. He'd already practiced his moonwalking for awhile, and done the Breakfast Club slide until he perfected it, so now we were back to...just walking. As normally as he could.

When he arrives at the suite and realizes that the girls aren't in their room, he almost turns to leave--until he hears a noise from a different room, and decides to slide over and look in.

"...hello?"

Equius looks up from his robotic fiddling at the voice. A male, unfamiliar voice, prompting a bit less pleasant a look.

"Hi," he greets Lucas flatly. Still, he supposes he should be polite. "Are you looking for someone."

Oh. It's a dude. A dude troll. He hadn't actually met many of the dude trolls yet, it just seemed like the chick trolls all flocked to him for one reason or another--not that he was surprised, he supposed--but wait, more importantly--

--why was there a dude troll in Nepeta and Jade's suite? He raised an eyebrow as he walked into the room like he owned the place.

"Yeah. Nepeta and Jade. They live here." As if he didn't know. But still.

Lucas crosses his arms across his chest. "...who are you, then?"

"Equius Zahhak," said troll dude replies, getting up from his comforting junk pile to better size-up this impudent human as he barges in.

He hasn't been a perfect moirail lately, unable to do a thing to protect Nepeta in the wake of the evil twins' return. Therefore, it was absolutely paramount that he question fully her "friends". Jade was one thing, but some big male human... he scowled.

"You'll identify yourself as well. And explicitly state your purpose in searching for them," he adds firmly.
