"Are you okay?" Was the question that greeted them both as they arrived, Ritsuka's tail lashing behind him in worry. The room was dim, barely showing the calligraphy that covered an entire wall. Ritsuka was still wearing day-clothes, jeans and a sweater he liked, and his ears were pressed flat to his head.

He didn't like Natsuo walking around like that when his feet were hurting. That test had made it very, very difficult to get around; Ritsuka remembered feeling like knives were stabbing up through the soles of his feet.

Natsuo nodded when he got to the bed. He placed Grell-sama down on the sigh and sighed. "there, that's better." He grinned up at Ritsuka. "No more pain now that's I'm sitting." he kicked his feet a little, moving the bandages on his knees, but he didn't care. "see?"

"Yes, thank you for your hospitality, Ritsuka." Grell replied in return once Natsuo entered the room and placed him down on the bed. "A little dizzy, but nothing too serious."

This was the first time meeting Ritsuka, whom both Youji and Natsuo had mentioned to him before. He gave a small bow of greeting. "My name is Grell Sutcliff."

"It's not a problem," Ritsuka answered politely. He stood near the bed, still casting worried glances at Natsuo. "I'm Ritsuka."

He was bad at this. He was. Ritsuka, as Ritsuka normally, was not good at meeting people, even if he could be polite. But if he smiled, Natsuo would catch that it was fake, he would know. And Ritsuka also didn't want his friend to point it out.

But it didn't change the fact that Ritsuka didn't care. Going through the motions was easy. Caring about the motions was not.
