The Batgirl was standing tall on the corner of a high-rise in the center of the city. Her blonde hair and cape were billowing in the wind without the aid of a special effects department. She was saying one last goodbye to her home... and probably to her entire existence. The doctors wouldn't need her after this.

Lucas wasn't exactly the quietest roof-troller of all time. She smiled when she heard him behind her, looking over her shoulder to greet him.

"Hey, Rookie. Not afraid of heights, I see."

"You know, I swear we talked about the whole 'Rookie' thing." Lucas smirks as he approaches and stands beside her, towards the city. "But I guess I'll just blame it on you having a horrible memory, or something."

Lucas regards her quickly, taking in the outfit that he met her in. When she'd helped him save his--Jade. "Not afraid of anything, actually. Heights are just one of the many things that fall under that category.

...I've always liked being up high."

"We talked about it. I decided that if you're gonna hang out with me while I'm working, you need an alias. Rookie it is." Her smile turns into a smirk and she places her hands on her hips.

"Me too. It feels safer up here sometimes." Not many creeps could handle roof hopping. A love of high places was pretty much an essential part of the job description for a batkid.

"I'm really gonna miss it."

He gives her a serious side-eye. "There are like, five thousand better aliases than 'Rookie.' You're just being a jerk." Lucas smiles as he looks back out towards the skyline. "Bunny."

And then he raises an eyebrow in her direction. "Miss what? These rooftops? ...why would you--

--oh, shit. You think they're gonna make you come back with us? To the Facility?"
