By this point, Helion had fallen into a bit of a routine around the facility. At about the time Soul was finishing up his talk with Maka, Helion's routine had turned to one of the most important parts of her routine -- Namely, scouring through the biodome to see if there was anything that could be used to cook. Considering that someone had already started smashing the place up, she wasn't confident there was actually going to be anything of value, so she had been taking her time getting there as it was.

As such, she didn't really think anything of putting things off a bit longer once she saw Soul on her way to the biodome, stopping to call out to him.

"Ah, Soul!"

He paused and looked up at Helion, hoping his eyes weren't redder than normal. From his slouch and how his hair hid most of his face, it was clear he was upset. Still, he tried to reply with as little emotion in his voice as possible.

"Hey, Helion." Helion upset easily and he had few friends in this place, so it would be rude to just keep walking.

It took her a moment to realize that Soul was upset about something, and she quickly tried to decide what to do. Chances are, Soul wouldn't want to talk about it, and considering that the two barely knew each other, it would probably be improper to try. On the other hand, she could probably help out at least a little bit...

"You seem a bit upset, Soul. Um... I know that it helps me to keep busy with something, so if you're not busy doing anything, would you mind helping me out with something?"

"Sure." It wasn't that he was doing anything else and maybe being alone wasn't a great idea in a place like this. He followed Helion without another word.
