But that wing was still hella sore and the Ace was starting to swerve a little. Fuck. Time to land this bitch and take a break or something. He glided down into the trees near the reception area.
There was definitely no way he was going to land somewhere near Asura.

How about almost right on top of.
Asura, slinking around like some sort of Christmas stealing green furry man, had spotted Jack in the sky. His first response was the same as any sane persons.
He hid. Behind the big wooden stage, with its big wooden back to cover him up and keep him out of sight. What wasn't being kept out of the way, however, was Asura's madness wavelength, floating through the air everywhere.
This close, it'd feel like someone was there, right behind Jack, always fast enough to stay just out of sight and reach no matter what he did. And they were whispering, almost too quiet to hear.

The Sovereign Slayer growled, immediately drawing his sword. His eyes darted around the scene. Tentacles; poised. He was tense and ready to flip the fuck at any any moment.
"Alright, smartass, why don't you start by showing yourself nice and slowly?"
If this turned out to be another fucking psychic bear he was going to blow up this whole camp.

Far worse than a psychic bear. Far worse than even a psychic bear with a chainsaw, because what was stalking Jack today was Jack. The part of him that was too screwed up to be let out, even by his standards.
Oh fuck.
It's scary.
The wavelength began to build up, and now the voice wasn't a whisper. It was Jack's own voice, and the non-existent Jack was somehow casting a shadow. And what the shadow was using its new voice for was listing things that Jack hated and wanted to kill, but couldn't, for whatever reason.

Jesus, this is the third time he scared her. Give her a moment until she finally sighs.]
Oh. What is it, Asura-san?

I've got something for you to do for me.

[He turned his gaze on her at last, or at least pointed his head in her direction.]
Just look around. Keep an eye on people. Tell me what they're up to. Be a social and friendly teenage girl.

But still...]
You're still here?

Feh...Either I'm here or you're hallucinating.
Which do you think, Cloud?

Or was he already losing it? He felt a headache coming on, wincing as he thought about it, then took a step back up against the wall.]
No. This is real. Tifa and Ishtar, they said it's real.

And do you trust them?
[Asura stood up straight, his face uncovered.]

But, she's a tiny little pair of girls. What's the deal?
So, Asura simply drops from the trees landing with a thud on his feet, going straight into a squat to stare at them.

"What the hell? That's not right! If you're two people be two people and if you're normal sized, be normal sized! Don't you know how confusing that is?" Asura rambled, his wavelength spiking up as he did. A hallucination should follow-Behind Asura should be a scene from the girl's own mind. A scene she longed for, even if she didn't know it.

Maybe she'd even run into someone she knew.

What to do next. So many possibilities. Too many. Argh. This was confusing and he didn't know what'd happen next so it was scary!
Okay. Here is a plan and it is a good plan. He got out his device, and sent a private message to Ramona: Hey Romama bear.
You remember how last week you said you wanted to do something together next week? Meaning this week?
Well, it's this week now.
Turn around.|
And there he was, right behind her, face covered, wearing five suits one over the other, being tall and trailing scarves all over the place. And sheepishly waving.

Ramona turned around slowly, dropping the stick more out of respect for the fact that he was scared of everything and she didn't want to freak him out. After the initial shock wore off, she waved back.
"Victor, hey!" She had not expected this; the meeting in the woods or his appearance.

Very slowly, the hand he had been waving started to go down, but half way there it found itself diverted to his other arm, holding it just above the elbow in a shy, defensive pose.
"What're you doing?"
