> Jack: Make friends with Asura. ascendtoace December 7 2010, 20:46:29 UTC
So here Jack was, minding his own goddamn business for once and just flying around aimlessly. It was nice to be in a big F3 again to stretch his wings out, even if they were still kind of sore. A sore wing is less of a pain than a cracked leg, though, so flying was way better than trying to walk everywhere. Injuries are stupid.

But that wing was still hella sore and the Ace was starting to swerve a little. Fuck. Time to land this bitch and take a break or something. He glided down into the trees near the reception area.

There was definitely no way he was going to land somewhere near Asura.

Somewhere near?

How about almost right on top of.

Asura, slinking around like some sort of Christmas stealing green furry man, had spotted Jack in the sky. His first response was the same as any sane persons.

He hid. Behind the big wooden stage, with its big wooden back to cover him up and keep him out of sight. What wasn't being kept out of the way, however, was Asura's madness wavelength, floating through the air everywhere.

This close, it'd feel like someone was there, right behind Jack, always fast enough to stay just out of sight and reach no matter what he did. And they were whispering, almost too quiet to hear.

Okay, so everything was going pretty swell until he landed. Suddenly he had this creepy feeling he was being watched. It was more than that, he swore he could hear whispers like the dark gods were having a fucking party around the corner.

The Sovereign Slayer growled, immediately drawing his sword. His eyes darted around the scene. Tentacles; poised. He was tense and ready to flip the fuck at any any moment.

"Alright, smartass, why don't you start by showing yourself nice and slowly?"

If this turned out to be another fucking psychic bear he was going to blow up this whole camp.

"Ke-ke..." Asura heard Jack talking, and made his signature chuckle, a tiny little noise.

Far worse than a psychic bear. Far worse than even a psychic bear with a chainsaw, because what was stalking Jack today was Jack. The part of him that was too screwed up to be let out, even by his standards.

Oh fuck.

It's scary.

The wavelength began to build up, and now the voice wasn't a whisper. It was Jack's own voice, and the non-existent Jack was somehow casting a shadow. And what the shadow was using its new voice for was listing things that Jack hated and wanted to kill, but couldn't, for whatever reason.

[Gasps and backs herself into a tree. In the middle of the forest. With absolutely no one in sight. God that sounds wrong

Jesus, this is the third time he scared her. Give her a moment until she finally sighs.]

Oh. What is it, Asura-san?

[Yup, he's just standing there, looking around, not even focusing on Fujino.]

I've got something for you to do for me.

Nothing too hard.

[He turned his gaze on her at last, or at least pointed his head in her direction.]

Just look around. Keep an eye on people. Tell me what they're up to. Be a social and friendly teenage girl.

Action-tagging is cool, yeah? ALSO Option 2. noliektinyspace December 8 2010, 01:00:10 UTC
[He isn't really sure where he's heading, but he recognizes that face and tenses up, remembering what happened last time.

But still...]

You're still here?

OF COURSE! strongestcoward December 8 2010, 11:37:27 UTC
[Asura had been squatting on the floor, holding a squirrel over his wide open mouth-but when Cloud spoke, he dropped the little critter, turning to look at him.]

Feh...Either I'm here or you're hallucinating.

Which do you think, Cloud?

[His eyes narrowed at the form, but he couldn't deny that a part of him didn't want to face this reality.

Or was he already losing it? He felt a headache coming on, wincing as he thought about it, then took a step back up against the wall.]

No. This is real. Tifa and Ishtar, they said it's real.

That squirrel was saying mean things. strongestcoward December 8 2010, 16:32:40 UTC
[Here in F3, Asura's wavelength was floating everywhere, and this close, Cloud should already be having some hallucinations-but these ones were bending his perceptions of Asura, to make him seem more appealing.]

And do you trust them?

[Asura stood up straight, his face uncovered.]

A big bucket of crazy. strongestcoward December 8 2010, 11:47:24 UTC
Okay. Asura see's a lot of freaky things in his head, and some times it gets hard to tell the difference between what's real and what's not when things are this weird.

But, she's a tiny little pair of girls. What's the deal?

So, Asura simply drops from the trees landing with a thud on his feet, going straight into a squat to stare at them.

Asura recoiled, rolling over backwards rather acrobatically.

"What the hell? That's not right! If you're two people be two people and if you're normal sized, be normal sized! Don't you know how confusing that is?" Asura rambled, his wavelength spiking up as he did. A hallucination should follow-Behind Asura should be a scene from the girl's own mind. A scene she longed for, even if she didn't know it.

Now that she knew what kind of wildlife was out here, Ramona was taking extra precautions while out in the woods. She had a big branch in one hand, for fending off would-be attackers, and her subspace suitcase in the other. Her mission: gather supplies and things to use as Christmas presents.

Maybe she'd even run into someone she knew.

Option 3-chill out with Ramona and be adorable. strongestcoward December 8 2010, 12:02:23 UTC
The Kishin was skulking around like some sort of creepy freak as usual, when he spotted Ramona. Instantly, he slipped behind a tree to hide, thinking carefully.

What to do next. So many possibilities. Too many. Argh. This was confusing and he didn't know what'd happen next so it was scary!

Okay. Here is a plan and it is a good plan. He got out his device, and sent a private message to Ramona: Hey Romama bear.

You remember how last week you said you wanted to do something together next week? Meaning this week?

Well, it's this week now.

Turn around.|

And there he was, right behind her, face covered, wearing five suits one over the other, being tall and trailing scarves all over the place. And sheepishly waving.

She slung the bag over her shoulder to take out her device and read the new message. Victor. She has hoping she'd hear from him. It was way easier to just let him contact her, she didn't even know what he looked... like...

Ramona turned around slowly, dropping the stick more out of respect for the fact that he was scared of everything and she didn't want to freak him out. After the initial shock wore off, she waved back.

"Victor, hey!" She had not expected this; the meeting in the woods or his appearance.

"Hi." His voice was still as muffled as it had been back when they had hung out in the dark, although he was speaking slightly louder to make sure she could hear him outside.

Very slowly, the hand he had been waving started to go down, but half way there it found itself diverted to his other arm, holding it just above the elbow in a shy, defensive pose.
"What're you doing?"
