Who: Light and OPEN
When: Wednesday afternoon
Where: the Cafeteria
Summary: Light needs food. There's only really one option, and it's not pretty. Being a happy coward, he's managed to avoid being nommed on so far, but fortune favors the brave, and Light isn't feeling very brave -- not with a still injured arm, for a start.
Rating: PG for now, will

Light Yagami. What luck.
This wasn't food for him, this was a toy, and the best kind.
"Well, well. Haven't seen you in a while."
His tone was friendly- entirely personable. Almost jovial. He beamed at the man, sure to show off those fangs.

Refusing to show hesitancy, he stepped forward, careful not to make it too obvious how fragile his left side was. He did more with his right hand anyway, and fetching sandwiches singlehandedly shouldn't be too hard.
"I don't know if you noticed, but I've been shot since we saw each other last. After that, I didn't much feel like socialising."
Just get the sandwiches and leave. No need to linger.

"Shot? That's unfortunate." Kadaj knew the pain of a gun wound. Thanks to a previous version of this man in front of him. He wondered if the bitterness showed.
"You seem to be feeling a little better now though. How does it feel to be... Back to this place?" Back to normal. Back to being a helpless little human.
And now there was that ever-present spark of insanity in his eyes. Kadaj was mad; no amount of socializing or gentleness would ever change that. He grinned, and was more then a little tempted to take the bastard down right then and there. Just tear him open and let the blood flow past his lips and call it a victory for himself. But it wouldn't be...Not in this place. Death was never permanent. The eyes of a predator watched the other man- aware of every movement he made.

"Comfortable. This facility is a lot more modern, and though there's less space, I prefer it. Everything has its place and its routine..." He took the chance to look at Kadaj, eyes narrowed. Something in that grin was unnatural, and it wasn't the teeth. Part of him regretted coming so far away from the door.
Still, nothing would be gained in looking nervous. Light took a sandwich and sat down, as though he had nowhere better to be, taking a bite out of one corner.
Back to being at the whims of the more powerful... He loathed it.
