Tenzou wasn't quite ready to turn himself over to the cookies yet -- he disliked the idea of putting any more psychoactive substances than he needed to in his system, although the scruple was a bit silly considering how often the Consortium took the choice away from him. Still, it was a little thing, but he'd rigged up a basic restraint for his wayward left hand. It would probably get out of it eventually, but for the time being, it was enough.

He didn't want to have a misbehaving hand getting into trouble while he was with Kakashi. Having the teen come back was a wonderful thing, lifted his low spirits, and he wasn't going to ruin that. Kakashi had asked for him...!

He made his way to Kakashi's room and tapped lightly on the door, offering a slight flicker of chakra at the same time to announce his presence.

"Kakashi? I'm here..."

The knock helped more than the chakra, since any sense of it had been taken from Kakashi for the week.

"Come in." He called, just loud enough to get past the door. His throat may have felt better after drinking the water Obito'd brought him, but he didn't want to undo all that damage control.

Yamato pushed the door open and poked his head in briefly, glancing toward Kakashi and offering him a small smile before he stepped fully in and closed the door behind him.

"How're you feeling?" he asked, settling himself with his back against the wall, sitting crosslegged and regarding Kakashi warmly.

How many times had he been asked that or some variant of it in the past few hours? Kakashi couldn't remember.

"I'm fine. Better than I was, anyway." Not that that was saying much.
