Willy was unable to sleep. His own mind was coming up with plan after plan to save the ones that he cared for and came up with nothing. His mind flitted back and forth between paternal devotion for one of the people on the list to platonic devotion for another. It was a layering feeling. One that he could never shake and another complication added to the mixture. Friendship.

His legs burned as he walked. He couldn't stay in his room. Ed was suffering, so many suffering and he was only one person. He heard the dull thumping of metal against flesh. Someone else was upset. He took a risk and entered the cafeteria to see Jet.

"Am I interrupting anything?" he asked calmly.

To spare himself the pain of moving his legs anymore, Jet carefully turned his head at the voice, gripping the trashcan so as not to loose his balance. With a little more effort he managed to turn around by spinning on one leg; leaning his back against the bin instead ( ... )

Aoko was and has always been Willy's friend and seeing her on the list, among so many others, made him take that step inside and took a seat. He really needed to call on his own wisdom and his own experiences for this one. Never before had he began to choose his own life for another. Being that it may so soon as the list was brought out, he didn't want to reveal just yet the terrible decision that he would have to make ( ... )

Willy's words were not quite what Jet expected, but the young lad couldn't have placed what he'd have wanted to hear regardless.

'Hang in there? Have faith we'll all be okay?' This was death, even if he did stand a fighting chance the Consortium had ways to make him comply. He could be stubborn, he always went out with a bang but even he wasn't crazy enough to dream. No one would be coming back he was gonna die! D-I-E. Would he even want to wake up from an experience so horrible ( ... )
