Minato could barely contain himself as he ran through the halls on his way to Yoite's room. This was so much different from the times when he had ran in a panic to find the other boy, terrified that when he did it would be too late... He was so happy, entertaining hope for the first time in what felt like far too long. The Persona-user rounded the last corner and made his way to the familiar. Door. He stopped, apprehensive like he had been so many times here. Taking a deep breath, Minato splayed his fingers out on the door as though to ground himself. Finally, he knocked lightly.

"Yoite? You're...you're really here, right? I'm not... not going crazy again, am I?" Minato lifted his eyes and bit his lip. There was no way he'd cry this time. He wouldn't ruin a miracle with tears.

The blue-haired boy still couldn't believe it. He'd lost his mind so many times since Yoite's passing, he almost couldn't remember what it felt like to be sane again. It had been the worst pain he'd ever felt, so deep that nothing could reach it.

Yoite closed his eyes at the sound of the other's voice. He didn't think he'd ever get to hear it again. It was nice to hear it now, made him feel calmer. Just the sound of it removed all those complicated, confused thoughts from his mind and he felt almost at ease with still being alive, with being here. As long as he was with Minato, then...

"I'm here..." He called out in reply, softly, though at the same time loud enough to be heard through the door. He wasn't sure how he should react when Minato came inside the room, but... He figured he'd find out of it. He felt happy just hearing his voice, so maybe that feeling would become more intense.

He slipped off of the bed, then just looked down and waited for the other to enter.

Minato didn't hesitate to open the door, and stepped into the room. He didn't look at Yoite, turning to close the door and resting his forehead against it. He couldn't believe it in some ways. The Persona-user felt his other selves stirring, all of them feeling differently. Thanatos still felt some sort of resentment towards Yoite for making him cry. Messiah was indifferent as always and Orpheus was happy along with him. It was hard to feel all of those things at once, and he took a long shaky breath before turning to see the younger boy standing near the bed ( ... )

Yoite looked at the other, a look of worry on his face for a moment, before he sighed softly. He'd hurt the other and hated himself for it. He wasn't sure what to do. Right now he was in no danger of dying, and his Kira was no longer with him, so it wasn't like he could hurt the other like that, but he was still afraid of hurting him more at all. He didn't want that at all.

Still, for now, it seemed that being close to the other would help make him feel better, and he moved closer as the other had to support himself against a wall to keep standing. He stopped close to him, and had to lean up a little to put small, somewhat cold hands on his face, looking worried and a bit unhappy.

"Don't cry..." He said softly, looking up at the older boy. "I... I'm here now... And I won't be going anywhere..."
