Roman knew he wasn't going to be able to get away with what he did- not in any way, shape, or form. But, hell- the way he figured it, not getting away with it in this place wasn't really a big fucking deal- rather the opposite, in fact. What it looked like was in here, you died, and then you came back, simple as that. Any pain in between the process was beside the point- he could deal with the pain; hell, he loved pain. Not to the extent he dealt it out to others (after all, just like Christmas presents, it gives you more of a warm, fuzzy feeling to give than to receive), but, hey- mind over matter, right? Or something like that.

All of this was why he was currently taking a rather leisurely stroll through the gardens, power drill still in hand (one advantage of a battery-operated one, you didn't have to plug it into the goddamned wall), clothing bloodstained. There was nothing better than the sun on your face (not like he could feel it all that much; blah blah blah, details details, who gives a shit) after a nice, refreshing torture

Of course. Why try to exercise logic or reason while searching for a murderous psycho? He was in the fucking garden.

Jason took a moment to consider his options.

He took out his knife, the gift he'd won the right to keep while killing zombies, and weighed it silently in his hand.

Yeah. Yeah, that seemed best.

He hurled the knife at Roman's head, but for once, he threw it so that the heavy hilt would come in contact first, not the blade. Whether it hit the back or front of the Mask's head, it would be a good stunning blow.

Thunk. (ooc: SHUT UP I AM BAD AT THAT SOUND... STUFF. ffff)

Just because Roman had an ebony mask fused to his face didn't mean shit like having a knife handle clonk against the back of your head didn't hurt. His hand immediately slapped against the back of his skull, fingers curling slightly in as sparks lapped faintly at the edges of his vision, disorienting him.

Roman's clever commentary on his current situation?

"Ah, fuck."

"Seriously," Jason advised him, there with a leg sweep that pleasantly whiffed the grass. "You don't even know."

Now that he'd found Roman, he was much less angry and much more... business-like.
