Madara having his powers, Hidan in the hallway, and... shit.
Dark eyes shot open, darting back and forth behind his loose hair to take in the surroundings, heart plummeting as he realized his position... no, their position. Chouji, Ino, and even Kouichi? How-?...
The Nara's mind was in a panic, synapses firing like never before as he tried desperately to pull the pieces of their situation together, automatically calculating their chances of escape. No chakra, no weapons, and an S-class missing-nin barely ten feet away. An S-class nin with a grudge...
It didn't take a genius to see how this situation would end.

"What's going on?" She mumbled as she struggled against her bonds. Another thing that she noticed was her hair let loose, falling down on her face like a yellow curtain.
The kunoichi checked her surroundings. Shikamaru? Chouji? And Kouichi? What was... and then it hit her. Madara. Hidan and then that blow. Panicking a little, she struggled again and looked over at the shadow nin.
"Shikamaru!"

He turned his head to the kunoichi beside him, squinting through his hair with a pained, worried expression.
Ino. He was going to watch Ino die if they didn't find a way out of this. He knew it.

Crimson eyes shot open and he gasped, groggily struggling to get a bearing on his surroundings. Animal instincts took over and the shinobi struggled against whatever was binding him mindlessly. There near him... voices. Ino and Shikamaru. He stopped, his panicking, not-quite-bird-heart in his throat.
"W-what the hell's going on?" He looked at them each in turn, noticing a third body nearby. Was that Chouji? He hadn't really met him in person yet. The blood in his veins ran cold as he noticed the other person in the room. Hidan. He'd been warned against him.
