Haku had little recollection of what had exactly happened for him to end up where he was now. Only remembering the fact that he had been kidnapped of sorts and nothing more. The sleep, even drugged, was something he was a little grateful for, the fact he could actually sleep with everything that ran through his mind almost constantly. Welcomed and not at the same time.
Once the drug began to wear off he could feel the fuzziness of slowly awakening from what seemed a dream. Though when pain connected to his brain he was pulled out of it, a mixture of being startled and pain at the same time. Muscles tensed, body wriggling uselessly against his bonds. What was going on and why was someone deciding that cutting into him like that was a good idea?
A little hiss followed after he realized the struggle was useless, gaze looking for the source.
"You must be the one who threatened me," he muttered lightly, speaking as little as necessary until the pain would wear down. Hopefully.

"Keen observation," said the subject coolly. It ran one gloved finger along the length of the cut on Haku's cheek, smearing the blood on his face. "Welcome back to the world of the living. Is the subject ready to talk?" It asked, spinning the scalpel between his fingers. It caught the light and shown brightly, winking under the Florescent bulbs. "Or does it need more persuasion?"
Once that finger ran across his cheek he tensed up, holding down the little growl that wanted to be heard. This was pathetic, he shouldn't have been caught so easily... And yet here he was, tied down and completely helpless.
"I was never told what I was supposed to speak of. So how can I answer?" As much as it sounded like he was mouthing off he wasn't really trying to sound that way. Other than them taking an interest in him, well, he had no other idea why he was supposed to be talking.
"Useless as usual," muttered the subject, "haven't even worked out why you're here. Let's talk about you and your friends. Tell me everything." It punctuated this last word by dragging the scalpel slowly over Haku's other cheek. The monotone synthetic voice changed very little as it spoke, making its actions even more terrifying.
