Sasha came in and looked about. "Is it alright for people to sit in and watch the auditions?"

"Oh hi there!" Emmett chirped as he noticed Sasha. "You wanna watch? ... Well I don't see why that would be a problemif other people are ok with it," he grinned. "Here."
Emmett stood up and dragged another chair over so it was beside his.
"I take it I can't persuade you to audition then?" he smiled.

As I mentioned, I doubt I have much of a stage presence.

ooc: Sasha can be forced to go up there if someone is cheerful enough and promises not to make fun of him.

"That's bull, stage presence has nothing to do with it," Emmett laughed, smacking Sasha's arm playfully. "Wouldn't hurt to give it a go would it? It ain't like anyone's gonna shoot you for trying!"

Sakura had no idea what to expect out of this audition. She'd never taken part in anything of this kind, discounting a few scenarios they ran through while at the Academy, and in normal circumstances, she likely never would. Facility brought it's own 'opportunities' with it's downsides.

She raised her hand up in a wave when she caught sight of Emmett in particular. "Hello, Emmett!"

"Oh hey sweetie!" Emmett grinned. He ran up to her and put his arms around her, lightly kissing both her cheeks and then pulling away, his eyes alight with excitement. "You've come to audition, right?"

Decking people for entirely unexpected action when she wasn't technically in danger was a bad idea. As such, she managed to stay stock still and offer Emmett a strained smile while a faint blush arose on her cheeks. She tried stepping back as she answered. "I guess so. What exactly am I going to need to do?"

"Just sing a little song or something," Emmett giggled, painfully oblivious to the fact he'd made her uncomfortable. "If you know any show tunes they're usually the best because you can act at the same time, but anything will be fine!"

And so entered Sora, scampering in, a big goofy grin on his face. "Hey! I heard that there was a musical happening!!" He was excited, even though he'd just been dragged back into this place this actually sounded like it could be fun!

"Yeah there is!" Emmett grinned. "You going to audition? It's going to be a blast!"

"Yeah!" Sora ran forward towards him. "What musical is it??"

"It's called Rent, do you know it? It's great!" Emmett said, enthusiastically.

Sebastian sighed heavily as he watched the scene before him. People singing joyfully and in general being led by the biggest Queen he'd met to date...well that was a lie, Grell could give him a run for his money.

"Might I ask what exactly it is that you're attempting to do?" The demon raised an eyebrow as he observed the scene.

"Organising fun, it's kinda boring around here. Plus with all the bad stuff that keeps happening singing and dancing is a good way for people to work together and forget about it, right? ... Someone said it's good for morale!"
Emmett grinned, hand on one hip, smacking a piece of gum around his mouth contentedly.

"Fun eh?" Sebastian paused and grimaced for a moment. "You know if the consortium doesn't like this then you might find your production ruined."

He shook his head to rub off the doom and gloom and tilted his head.
"I see your point about morale, though I must ask a few things...What are you chewing on and what exactly is this fun you're planning?"

"I'm chewing gum," Emmett giggled, "You want some?" he fished around in the pocket of his jeans and offered the packet to Sebastien. "And I'm planning a musical silly, singing, dancing, acting. If you can pretend you're someone else and somewhere else, even for a moment, you can escape from the pain for a while, right? What can the consortium do exactly, they can't ruin this, they can't break our dances and they can't stop our songs and the sure as hell will not wreck the thumpa thumpa!"
Emmett was very confident of this fact. This was his act of defiance. They were trying to destroy these people and he was going to do his darn best to stop that happening.

Barney marched into the rec room, ready. "This the auditions?" He quirked an eyebrow, looking for their enthusiastic planner.

"Barney!" Emmett cried, enthusiastically. He remembered him as being a bit of a dude during the bacteria week, when the recovery rave had been going on. Emmett ran at Barney and glomp tackled him happily. "These are the auditions... yay! You're auditioning right?!"

Barney stiffened as Emmett attacked. That was so not a Bro hug. Pushing him back a little, Barney said. "yeah, I was going to." Regaining his composure, "so, how's it going to work?"

"Well, I'm just gettng people to sing a little or act a little or dance a little, just to see what they're like," Emmett smiled. "Then next week we're going to cast it and after that it will be rehearsals and making set and things for a few weeks until it's ready. Then we can put on a show and perform!"
