I suspect it will be less formal, as it is also a pool party. I have some music from a previous event that should be very uplifting but very informal.

A body of water maintained for the sake of swimming. There is also a jacuzzi, which is heated, circulated water.

Does one wear the same sort of clothing they would when going to the shore?

Somewhat, except that it is public and generally more active.

I suspect that the clothing you see will be less covering than what you are used to, but that is the idea.
