I have  a proposition regarding housing arrangements. I'd like to have the ground floor of building 1 designated as women's only apartments. There are fewer of us here and it would be nice to have an area to ourselves

Have you met some of the men we live with? They're lewd, rude, slobbish, interfering and have a tendency to spy. It'll be a relief to have somewhere free of them.

I don't mind men when they act like gentlemen. Most of the men here tend to act like overgrown ten year olds, so deserve to be banished until they learn to behave.

...Why the first floor? Wouldn't people have to the first floor just to get to the second? Thus forcing them to break your rule just by living in the building?

Because it was the only floor I wouldn't have to ask any men to move out of.

I don't really understand the need for splitting people up based on their gender, though.

It's partly for our safety and partly for the atmosphere. There's such a nicer atmosphere when women live together without men. It's far more relaxing.
