I'd fallen asleep in the church in Hope's End.

No, it's not, it's... a rebellion.

[It takes her a few moments to work it out]

Is this the station? Where the interns live?

[Emilia nods and climbs under one of the gurneys, tucking her knees against her chest in an effort to keep small]

Sebastian said it's a rebellion. Is the fighting heavy?

There's rioting on most levels, so stay out of sight.

I have no idea who's winning, but we're still alive, so we can't be doing too badly. Look's like Val's sticking around for awhile.

[Harry's face is haggard and worried, and he's crouched behind something, staff in his other hand]

Emilia, stay down. Long story short we've broken out. Bad news is there were more of these interns than we'd expe-

[Harry's voice is cut off by the roar of automatic gunsfire, and he instinctively curls up, hands over his head as the bullets whiz over and around him. The table isn't perfect cover-at least a few shots can be seen sending splinters flying out from Harry's side of the wood]

Hell's bells. The robots aren't hostile. Actually, stick by it it's probably safest. some of them have been shielding people, we're not sure why but we figure Val, she's on our side.

[The camera shakes wildly as Harry pops up, aiming his staff over the table and sending a fireball in the general direction of the incoming fire. He vaults the table, sprinting for a side passage that would take him closer to the next charge, and the same automatic rattle dominates the feed.

Harry pitches forward, hitting the ground with a sharp breath]

Harry! Were you hit?

[Harry lies still for a moment, visibly still breathing but stunned at least as the fire shifts, still audible and incredibly loud but directed at something other than him.

He moves when the fire is cut off, along with an accompanying scream and what sounds like the giggle of a little girl. He picks the 'berry back up]

Yeah. My side somewhere, I... jesus, that's gonna leave a hell of a bruise. [he sucks in his breath and winces as it comes in. Ribs cracked, at least. Dammit.]

The Consortium was hoping to destroy the whole place. Val's trying to give us an out, apparently she didn't like the idea of being scrap metal.

It's the distant future; you've been out of it for ... oooh, 200 years, give or take. That's R2D2, don't worry, he's friendly. Or at least, we think he is. It's hard to tell, all he does is beep.

You probably oughtta stay put. Call me if there turns out to be anyone who is a person there. If they aren't one of us, I mean - not to worry you or anything, but they're getting just a teensy bit violent.

You always say so much that makes so little sense.

Hey, it's not my fault you're from the seventh century.

Against the interns, yeah, we are. Kinda hard not to. They're all human, far as I can tell... maybe not morally, but that's not helping them much. Overall, though? I'd like to think the fact they're running around screaming is a sign in our favour, but I don't know. We could all still be blown up at any moment, so, uh, if that happens, I guess you can take that to mean that we lost.

[Not that he sounds at all bothered by the prospect. Rather cheerful, in fact. Best not to think too deeply on the relationship between bloody killing and his happiness.]
