[She stands up and smiles at him, waving him inside. She was really excited to start learning to read and write, and was thankful that Alex had offered to teach her.]
[Fixing the assortment of notebooks he has, Alex removes the pencil from behind his ear, nods and walks inside. There's a small smile in turn and a nod of the head as he regards her. Moving over to the desk in her room, he makes a motion for Nill to sit.]
You must've been real popular at school. Lemme guess, as well as reading history books for kicks, didja happen to bring the teacher a nice shiny apple every morning too?
