That sounds pretty useful. And you can always use me as a shield. Wouldn't be the first time someone's done that. But as far as I know he doesn't have a gun here. So that's good.

As much as I support women taking names and giving 'em what for, I don't think what little pride I've got left could handle using a nice gal I just met as a shield from my own best friend.

Offer's there. I happen to make a very good shield. Especially if we're talking about bullets. But I doubt that'll ever happen, even after Bucky gets his hands on a gun. He's all bark and no bite.

It's really hard to imagine Bucky being a smooth-talker. But he was a lot different when he was a kid, wasn't he? I met him when he was younger once. Time travel shenanigans. It's part of the reason I hate time travel so much. Bucky called me a dame. I may have knocked him on his ass.

Buck was a punk as a kid. We both were. [Only Toro was the whiny kind and Bucky was the bully kind.] We picked at each other over the stupidest things.

Once the bullets started bouncing off me he kept shooting. After a while it was just sort of annoying.

Nah, not really. He's a good guy. Sometimes he's really grumpy but I guess he grew out of the annoying stage. And I can't even blame him for being a little grumpy.
