[Doc Scratch turns on the feed, looking only mildly disturbed. He's taken off both his suit jacket and dress shirt, a plush white torso underneath. His supsenders hang by his sides.]

Perhaps this isn't painful-- to me, that is-- but it certainly is troublesome and whatever this is, I believe it's going to burst from my back any moment now.

I'm truly honored to know that I'm the one who's caused you the most pain in your life. Truly. However, it doesn't mean much in comparison to all those I've hurt throughout my lifetime. And all those who I've helped.

Plus I have no heart, in the literal or figurative sense.

I believe it's safe to assume that these wings would be the reason, yes.

I'll be just fine if I could perhaps get someone to stitch up the long tears on my back. And perhaps put some of my stuffing back in, as well.

I'd offer, but I'm no tailor. I know how to stitch something up, but you'd probably rather a medic for something like that. I apologize.

Don't worry, I'm sure a doctor would work just as well, someone who might be able to suture the tears.

I would have someone in particular, a personal tailor, but he was terminated today.

[She's chuckling lightly. She doesn't seem to be at all worried about what's to come.]

I think wings would look fabulous on you, my dear. I wonder what color yours may be? [He chuckles a bit, because that's quite a silly question, he has a very good idea of what color they'll end up.]

I'm rather glad that I can not feel pain.

I'm hoping they fit my complexion. It would be horrid if they came in white. [Not...that they would.]

I'm sure most of them are just complaining, honestly. A little pain don't hurt nobody...too much. Heehee.

These wings certainly don't match the rest of my attire. I'm rather irritated with them. [He tsks a little at the gray color, which is not at all as white as he wished they would be.]

The irony of that statement is really something to behold, my dear. [He chuckles along with her.]
