[ Dad Egbert doesn't stay to read much. He hears his son talking with someone who seems to have some sort of bloodlust, he hears his son using that voice of reason and trust he' s so eminently capable of, and he knows that if his son knows and trusts this young woman then it's not necessarily his place to step in.

But some of the things she's saying are... worrisome, to say the least. He finally clicks on a private feed, quickly texting over: ]
