[you know he's not very good at that. but when it becomes obvious sasha is not in the suite he tries. reaching out looking for that familiar presence. he's far away and so it takes him a while and a lot of difficult concentration, but when he does find him he recognizes it's him almost immediately, giving his mind a little shove. holy shit he did it. if anything slips through the mental connection it's that.]
