Most of them have makeshift guardians, but there doesn't seem to be a structure of any kind for academics.

With all the shit going on in this place, shouldn't the kids have some sense of normal around here?

Do you think it would actually make any difference?

Would I have wasted my time if I didn't?

[Hey, Midnighter, you get to see Mindy's Hit Girl outfit. She's been training with Temari, and she looks tired out. Plus that's a nice little bruise on her cheek from where she caught a stray foot.]

Well, I take lessons and therapy from Milla and martial arts and dancing from Temari, but I don't think we've got a system, really. Lili's dad teaches her stuff, and there's one angry librarian chick from like the eighteen hundreds that gives lessons to the really little kids.

[Nice costume.]

What'd your dad teach you between flaying assholes off people?

Wait can you do that? That's totally-

[She shakes herself out of the excitement. Remember what the question was, Mindy.]

Um. Usual grade school stuff. Math, reading, writing, classic books and movies and stuff along with the training. Why d'you ask?

[The ten year old ginger child is peering over the side of the others head as he types the reply. Quietly he shifts from his position where he sits and replies after a moments thought, pondering how to reply and openly admit he was eavesdropping from his vantage point.] I don't think this place would ever offer a school.

It would be too much for them to actually take care of someone.

[If he's annoyed that Colin read it over his shoulder (hint: he's not), he doesn't show it.] I wasn't talking about the facility, I know they're more useless than an incumbent congressman. I meant anyone around here.

[Shifting a little, he looks around as the other speaks and then replies.] I don't think so.

I think we just kind of learn from people around here--or something.

[Grumbles] So there's all these people running around, trying to make normal for themselves, and forgot about the children? Typical.

I wasn't expecting a daily thing or anything, but considering the other things you people have been able to put together, I thought there might be something.
