(Vizh only saw a little over half the feed. As soon as Tommy exploded a Reaver, Vision left his location, dead set on finding his son. Tommy... Tommy looked like he was enjoying himself.

He arrives on the scene as soon as he can, stunning Reavers along the way.)

[Probably because he is. Whoops. The rush, the adrenaline, the feeling of being invulnerable because no one can catch him and no one can stop him... Tommy's always liked it. And with these monsters, Kate isn't going to deter him from popping some heads.

He should be abashed when his father shows up, but he isn't, just looks up. A Reaver head several yards away bursts.]

Protecting people from these things. Dead things can't hurt anyone.

[RIGHT. Overlooking the fact that Tommy's blowing up heads again and taking more concern about the two of them.]

[Oh, you make it sound so every-day. "Oh, look, Tommy's blowing up heads again, the scamp." The reply comes about twenty minutes later after Tommy's taken out another small group of Reavers, for good, and retrieved his 'berry. His suit is stained in places, and dirty; there's still a fine mist of blood on one cheek.]

Huh? Yeah, we're good. They don't stand a chance between me and Hawkeye. How're you doing? Staying safe?

[He's taking this at arm's length--the Wonderland trip showed him what the other could do but the head popping is definitely something he's never gonna get used to. Still, this is Tommy and that's not going to change his opinion of his friend for the most part. There's a frown and his brows are furrowed but he nods.]

Good to hear that--doing fine, ducking low. What are they, exactly?

[It's probably best to just ignore his less savory tendencies. Juvie had a profound effect on him, and though he's generally a good person and generally okay with following the 'Young Avengers don't kill. Except Kang. That one time.' rule... Well.]

Not sure. They go pop like humans [How would you even know that Tommy.] but I don't think they are. Not anymore, at least. Whatever, they're better dead. Don't get too close to one, they keep trying to take a bite out of me.

Before they reach the targets they split open to unroll a length of wire which would spin around the pair of targets tightly. Their strength might let them break out but it would take a minute. [Tommy is entirely unimpressed by the display. His girlfriend has bola arrows, it's a trick he's seen before, and the non-lethal methods of others just seem to frustrate him. The two trapped Reavers' heads burst after a moment, in yet another spray of gore that dots the green of his spandex uniform with blood.

He's not terribly happy with a stranger invading on his 'therapy time'.] Anyone tell you the flying squirrel look is out? Get outta here, junior, go "help" someone that needs it. The Young Avengers have this area covered.

[Tommy replies about ten minutes later after he's fetched his 'berry and reached a momentarily Reaverless respite. His expression is nothing but serious upon seeing his brother.]

If you don't put 'em down permanently, they don't stay down, Wiccan. Pain doesn't bother them at all. They keep trying to take a bite out of me. Literally.

You doing okay? We should meet up. You and I can take 'em out quick.

Just don't want it becoming habit, Speed. We can't handle humans like this. [He's not as adamant about that as he'd normally be. Mostly he's looking over his brother's face to make sure he's all right.] Blow them up before they get the chance.

[It's probably a good thing this is audio. It was a long battle, but he and Kate both made it through unharmed. He's heading back to the base now, walking instead of running, covered in blood.]

Good. We're both fine. Took a bunch of 'em out. You alright?

I'm fine. [Comes the reply--worried for them, but he's alright, he's working on numbing himself this week and has been since the termination list went up. He's reverting, quietly, to who he was before.]

Was a pretty easy task? Or is it something tough we're up against this time?
