from what i've gathered, it's a virus, definitely transmitted through bodily fluids and possibly through the air.

Suite is all locked up. No one is getting in or out. Stocked up on food and water. Anyone who tries to go out already knows they'll get punched in the face. We're good.

Not happy, but fine. Watching people suffer and not being able to do anything about it seems to be a weekly thing in this place.

[Bucky bumps up the filter a little before he clicks on the video; when he does, he's looking a little worse for the wear. Not sick, just tired. Worried.] Is your suite compromised? You're welcome to stay with Dick and me in 8, help us hold down the fort and protect some uninfected people.

...It doesn't happen every week. The helplessness isn't usually this... [He waves a hand as if that'll finish his thought. You can probably catch a glimpse of black bodysuit beneath his long-sleeved shirt.]

I will be there as soon as I can. Do you have supplies? Water? Food? If you need a headcount of the infected people my x-ray vision might come in handy. Anything you need I will make sure to get.

Dick and I have stockpiles and I should have a contact who can bring more, but if you think you can risk it to the cafeteria, go ahead and bring some. And a headcount on any infected you see would be appreciated. If things start to get too overrun by the end of the week-... well.

[He'll have to go out there and try to start taking people out. But it isn't something he wants to do.]

[He's been thinking about it all day and he knows Bucky is not going to like but he can't keep quiet about it anymore. He needs to get out and check in on some people and if the other can step out of his circle into heroics then Timothy wants to brave the halls for just that night. With a pause, he is thinking of a way to bring it up and opts for approaching him from behind and slumping against his back, head on his shoulder.]

[If it involves leaving the safety of this suite, Bucky definitely isn't going to like it. He might be hard to convince because of worry, but he also might relent because his attention is being pulled in several different directions right now. He's standing in the common room, watching the blocked off door, going over battle plans in his mind when he senses Timothy behind him a split second before the other leans against him.

It's probably a small miracle that he's not flipping Timothy over his shoulder and onto the ground, but he isn't, just shifts instead to wind his arm around the kid's shoulders to give him a one-armed hug.] Hey yourself.

[He is surprised that the other is not flipping him around for the action but he can't think of any other way to greet the man and nor can he think of a way to say what he needs to say. With a breath, he thinks the whole thing is a little rebellious but the other is not his mother, and he does not just randomly sneak off when he is around him, he respects him more than that. Leaning into the other at the hug he looks at the door then murmurs his reply quietly.] Did everyone check in?

[At the question, Bucky's arm around him tightens just briefly in a gentle squeeze before loosening again. He shakes his head slightly and exhales in a soft sigh.] Not everyone yet. Still waiting on Power Girl. I haven't heard from her in a while.

Dick's gone to go get Barbara, and I'm still waiting on a couple of acquaintances to drop by.

why should i risk it if there are people like you, apparently, out there playing zombie-busters? some of us have non-combatants to protect from being eaten.

frankly, it isn't my business if people want to go out like idiots and get themselves infected or killed.
