It's propped up nearly perfectly - funny how these things work - to catch Bucky in the frame. [Oh, hey, another kid, he's getting all sorts of attention today.] The trees are complaining? Well, I'll make sure to hit a little softer from now on. [A slight chuckle.] I haven't caused any real damage, I don't think.

[That is probably true. He just quirks an eyebrow at her insistence upon chewing him out for this, though 'psychic' catches his ear. It's interesting, but it also doesn't seem to faze him - he deals with weird on a daily basis.] Psychic, huh? I really didn't know plants had consciousnesses. That's interesting. I don't think I've seen you around much, ...? [He trails off, clearly searching for a name.]

[That earns a slightly sheepish chuckle from him.] You could say that. Have to keep in shape, I'm still not entirely used to working with this thing, but it comes with the gig. [The 'gig' being the Captain America title, but he can probably figure that out.]

Nobody had, really, not until Steve. The first guy with the name I've got now. He never carried any other weapons after he got the shield.

[A slight wince, because he isn't happy about that being caught on video.] Probably. I might be putting too much strain on it this week.

Bucky? Is your arm acting up? There were sparks when you grabbed the shield. That, and you dropped it.

[Shit. He doesn't have any proper tools to do a proper tune up or repair. He'd have to look into make some mediocre ones or find someone who does.] I'm not an expert, but I've done mechanic work before. I can get that looked in an attempt to figure out what the problem is.

If you want to take a look at it, I can come down. It's been acting up ever since I got here, just... not like this specifically.

Probably haven't, besides me, I've only known one other person suicidal enough to use a round shield as weapon. [He chuckles a little.] Hey, the hapless trees don't fight back. If you want to come down and make my workout a little more interesting?

[A quiet chuckle, because yeah, it's even difficult for a grown man to throw; Bucky probably couldn't manage without the bionic arm.] Sure, I'll be down here all day. What sort of weapon? Maybe I can give you some pointers.
