Good. I just wanted to make sure you knew. The last thing anyone needs after last week is to not know where the people they care about are.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. All the medics want to do is help. If forcing themselves into your room is the way they need to do it, then that's what they should do.
So, I'm guessing you didn't press the button yourself?
It's good to know the medics are quite stubborn and resilient when it comes to helping the injured. We need people like that healing us or nothing gets done.
No, I didn't. I'm too paranoid to press a shiny, red button.

[Raven ignored the faciliberry as soon as she confirmed Dick was there. Then she's off through the hallways and walls as fast as she can phase. Including popping into his room, no preamble.]
DICK!
[There is both relief and fear in that tone, as without preamble Raven'll come closer. Hands gently wrapping around his head, seeking to wrap gentle mental wings around him and block any pain he's in. Assessing the damages, the scars and bruises, worrying and affectionate and glad he is THERE.]

[He jumps a little, automatically regretting it. Oh god everything hurts and nothing is beautiful. Gosh darn it Raven, you do not scare someone who just got back from death.]
R-Raven? I'm...fine?
[There's a lot of damage to access. The bruises. His respiratory problems. And the mental trauma that won't be going away anytime soon. Physical pain, Dick can deal with. But the mental trauma was always harder for him to get over.]
She didn't mean to. ;_;azrthmtrnznthosMay 22 2011, 22:12:29 UTC
You are NOT fine, Dick. Now hush and let me help you.
[Still blocking the pain, letting that sensation of wings wrap around him and he can easily feel the protective waves coming from her. Slowly, carefully, as Raven heads for his lungs and respiratory system first, concentrating on mending and healing.]
Good thing he has no heart problems.notasidedickMay 22 2011, 22:30:30 UTC
I'm okay. I could be better?
[He says that, but he might also be clinging to you. Okay. He's not fine. He needs to have them around right now. He'll be Big Brother Dick later when he doesn't feel like he went to hell and back.]

I've got aspirin if you need some. You should really see a medic though.

I'm fine. I think I have someone coming over though. They definitely didn't give me room to say no at the very least when I wanted to.
