55 Maka Albarn [Voice]

[With help from Tsubaki, this has been locked from Tyki, and the Earl]

For everyone who got my call earlier in the week, I'm sorry for worrying you. I'm fine, and I've been staying with Tsubaki-chan since then. [There's a long pause and it almost seems like she's done when she goes on.]

...okay I'm not exactly fine. It's still not a big deal. [ ( Read more... )

[Voice]---still in pieces--we'll be in pieces together. scarygoodtime March 26 2011, 05:28:35 UTC
Well, the 'berry was strange like that now wasn't it? Jack had been listening to the voices and sounds coming from the strange device--once he'd turned his head around enough to see the strange thing...well the edge of it. This whole being in pieces thing had now become somewhat inconvenient more than just fascinating alone.

Um...hello? I've been listening to the voices come out of this strange box thing, so I don't know if my response will go to where it's supposed to. To the girl who is temporarily blind, I'm very sorry to hear that.

Is this kind of thing normal in this Town? At least I know now, I'm not here alone, but I'm still not sure where here IS exactly. At the moment though, I can't do anything BUT talk, so if you're willing to tell me a bit about where we are, I can try and help you not be bored. I know lots of stories.

It's a friendly enough voice, curious and energetic. Echoing weirdly however, but that's due to bathroom acoustics.

[...what.]

I-town? Um, did you just get here?

Thanks, but it's really not that big of a deal, though I wouldn't exactly call it normal. I made the wrong person mad and he did this to me, but my friends helped me before he could do anything worse.

You aren't alone here, but not everyone here is...safe. [As evidence by what she just told you.]

Everyone here was brought here by a group called the consortium, and we're all from different worlds. They brought us here to experiment on us, and every week it's something new. This week, the floors are made of ice. [And being blind is not conducive to icy floors so she doesn't sound too happy about it.]

...Maka. Um, if I'm hearing things correctly, I think that person's speaking from my suite. Um, do you mind if I check up on him before we meet up? Just to make sure that whoever it is is okay?

I don't mind at all, that's probably a good idea.

[SHE WOULD TURN ON THE VIDEO TO GLARE BUT GLARING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION WOULD ONLY DIMINISH HER POINT.]

That's not my name!

Well that sounds terribly inconvenient. Do you need someone to, pardon the pun, come take a look at you? I might be able to help speed up the healing process if I know what's happened to you.

I've already had a few healers take a look, but yes please.

Professor Stein, do you know of any specific methods for blind training? I still have perception but that's not enough. I'm not letting this set me back.

We could trade eyes for the week if you really wanted!

My eyesight isn't bad enough for me to warrant an expertise in blind training, and it would be a little harsh of me to beat up a blind girl. But if you insist, I'd be willing to give you a chance to practice.

N-no that's okay!

Mmm, my friend Riku says he can help me to learn how to fight blind. I'd like to practice fighting you if that's okay. [Which is a little intimidating.]

Do you skate? The rec room is pretty clear, actually. If you want, I could help you out, it might be nice to get some exercise without having to worry so much about falling down.

[Woooooorrrrriiieedddd Harry.]

Me and ice didn't get along even when I could see. That's probably not a good idea.

Hmm. You're probably right. D'you want anything?

togana_keiri March 26 2011, 20:46:42 UTC
No I'm alright right now, but thanks.

Oh, um, sorry about before...for turning you away. I...turned everyone away who didn't have Innocence. [Harry's reaction had made her feel especially guilty because she could tell he'd taken it personally.]

It wasn't about being strong or not, it's just the way a few worlds work. The world T-my attacker was from works like that. You can't physically hit him unless you have something called Innocence. Otherwise, he's intangible.

Please, Roxas? I have nothing to do! I can't read! It's so boring not being able to read here.

What're you gonna do when you run out of books anyway? [Roxas is smiling, that much is clear] I'll be over soon. Should I bring anything?

I can't run out! I get new ones whenever we go to a world that has them. Besides, you can learn more from a book by reading it more than once. A lot of times I pick up on things I didn't notice the first time around.

No, I'll see you in a few! [Oh damnit, second time she's done that today.]

You know...figuratively.
