WELL I went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 at midnight last night, and I've gotta say, I ENJOYED IT THOROUGHLY!

I'm with you on waiting until the DVD release, too, usually, but a friend had an extra ticket and sprang this on me around 8pm yesterday! Spur of the moment, and despite the teen annoyance, totally worth it :] I'm glad I went.

The director for movies 5-7 (I think it's the same one) is amazing. Since he took over, I started to actually like the movies.

I really have enjoyed the movies more and more as they've come out and I chock it up to getting comfortable with the characters, as well as a superb director/crew!
