Have you thought about writing an ep for them and submitting as a sample? I have no idea how TV writing works but you would seem to have the credentials to at least give it a shot? Or maybe that's just a dumb idea. Dunno
Most shows don't do that. Most shows won't even look at spec scripts. One of the few that I can think of that did is Star Trek: The Next Generation.
For them it is a risky proposition.
You'd need an agent in Hollywood for one thing.
Buckner & Ross-Leming appear to have a writing relationship that stretches back to 1976 and goes through The Love Boat and Scarecrow and Mrs. King. I think their resumes are BEYOND REPROACH.
They do seem like journeymen scriptwriters, the kind of people you turn to when you need scripts churned out quickly, reliably, on time and on budget.
If I were a betting person, knowing that They Know Someone, they're either being given pity work or there are problems behind the scenes.
