Seriously, though - that US of A sure does have some pretty scenery! And how much do I want that psychic robot Elvis??? And I think that highway may just be my worst nightmare. You're just BOUND to drive off the edge one day.
That it does. Easy to see why it was considered the Promised Land by early Europeans. (unlike Oz which, while equally stunning, must have felt like landing in Hell itself to the colonists)

There's noises, too. The place never sleeps. Imagine the power bills!
Strangely though, both D & I agree that we really rather liked the place. The older part, at least. Surprises the hell outta us that we think that, but yeah.
