I haven't made this dish in ages so I'm doing a quick repost with a composite picture I shared on FB ... cause I'm a lazy person.

The recipe can be found in the original post I did, eight years ago, with credit to the blog that I found it on. I made it with regular potatoes this time, as that's all that I had, and it's what her recipe called for ( Read more... )

Yum! looks tasty!

I sprinkled some curry powder on my fried potatoes/onions side dish that I made this week - it added a nice flavour! I find that my kitchen retains the scent of curry for a long time - even with the fan going, though, so I don't cook with curry very often!

I agree that the fragrance of the spices used in curries etc lingers. And I don't even have a fan in my kitchen. ;)

It's a fast and easy dish and tasty for the effort involved.

Love a good curry! We had the rest of the Trinidadian potato-chickpea curry I made the other night as roti. Super yum!!!

Your curry sounds tasty too.

My stuffed paratha were also made with potatoes. Here's the post I made back in 2018 as part of an elaborate Indian meal. The chickpeas were part of a curry.

I made a honey-braised korma for the first time ever yesterday! I haven’t much experience with korma, but I have seen it on the menu often enough.
