Kofta are a popular Middle Eastern dish of ground (minced) meat, ie. lamb, chicken, beef or even pork, which may be shaped into meatballs, patties or loaves. Or sausage shaped and threaded onto skewers and then grilled. Believe me ... I know. If I was still going to Xochimilco Mexican restaurant in Detroit, I'd have to mix the complimentary hot and mild sauces they give you with the freshly fried nachos. (BOY ... I miss that place.)

Exactly. Sometimes I even add veggies to the stick along with the meat. :)
