Basic Corn Chowder ... Chicken/Turkey or Bacon Variations

Just a quick info dump for those who aren't familiar with chowders. A chowder is a hearty potato based soup which is often thickened with a flour roux and/or milk or cream.

Yum, there is nothing better corn chowder to my way of think, but until the weather starts to cool off a bit more, I'm going to have to be content with the cool/cold soups. Can't wait for fall, though.

Although I was tempted to use the corn for Mexican street corn as I posted earlier. Cause that was very good too. :)

Oh, I love a corn chowder! Food doesn't have much allure for me in my current state, but these do look tasty!

Thank you. I've been posting like crazy for the last week or 2 ... the raspberry curd was great and so were the 2 kinds of cupcakes I made. :)
