Mmm, there's nothing better than a good bread pudding. I will confess to never having thought to use something other than bread for the base, though. Looks pretty darn yummy and better than the piece of less-than-exciting bread pudding we had at the restaurant last night.

I've had a piece in my fridge for a couple of days ... meant to make some vanilla custard to pour over it but it was a very unproductive weekend cooking wise, other than the fudge.
