The theme of today's post is "when life gives you lemons ... make lemonade."
The failed dulce de leche 'caramel' from my
microwave experiment was sitting in the fridge and because I had no intention of eating it the way it was, I decided to turn the 1 cup of almost solid caramel into candy. Specifically, chocolate covered caramels.

That wouldn't stop me either, caramel doesn't freeze solid (don't ask how I know ;-)!) so every time I would go in the basement, one would inadvertently pop into my mouth. Go figure. Caramel is my weakness.
