Thank you for the kind wishes. I'll definitely be taking care and, fortunately, I will have someone around who can help with things. :)

I'm trying to keep my mind off the surgery for a while yet... but it's hard as I have to plan ahead.

Best of fortune with the hip replacement - preparing some meals that you can heat 'n' eat ahead of time is good planning.

I'm a huge fan of panko bread crumbs, they add such a nice texture!

Thank you for the kind wish. I'm a long time cook and freeze person so this isn't too big a chore for me.

I like panko as well. :)

Best of luck with the operation!

Sounds like no fun at all, but at least you shouldn't starve entirely!

Thank you for the kind wish. Yep, lots of food. I just have to keep from stress eating it now. :)

I'm so sorry you have to have yet another hip replacement. I bet you can't wait for it all to be over. It's great that you're so organised and you're stocking your fridge and freezer with yummy food so that you won't starve or have to indulge in ordering takeaway like pizza. I hope the operation goes really well and that you make a swift recovery xx http://hotlyspiced.com

Thank you for the kind thought. I do want it all over with. The waiting is worse than the actual operation. :) The pizza at our favourite place is pretty tasty. :)

Best of luck for your operation and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
The chicken and pesto look delicious so at least you'll have good food to aid in your recuperation.

Thank you for the kind wishes. :)

I wish I had harvested my basil when it was younger and greener. And that I had pine nuts but I know it will be great when I finally use it. :)

I had to keep from eating the chicken as soon as it came out of the frying pan cause it smelled and looked amazing. I snagged 4 of the smaller pieces though. They didn't in the tupperware container with the rest. At least that's MY story. I ate them with the potato salad that I made ... for the first time EVER! :)
