fresher's week at uni/college; a girl moves into her new halls of residence and meets her new hall-mates. They all go out on the first night and she meets lots of new people, has quite a bit to drink, meets this good-looking, friendly guy from the same accommodation, drinks some more. Flirts with guy, he flirts back, they start getting it on. They leave the club with everyone else and go back to her halls, they end up in her room and end up having sex. The guy goes back to his room early in the morning.

She wakes up in the morning and can't really remember what has happened, wonders why she's naked and why her clothes are strewn across the floor.
Suddenly realising that she has had a sexual encounter the night before, she immediately assumes that it was rape - on the basis that she can't remember what happened.

Is the guy guilty or rape? This situation has happened hundreds of times this year all over the country.

I think that's the only way a girl can be guilty. Otherwise, to be honest, the rest is pretty non-guilty. Y'know?
