The smell of Bazooka bubble gum

So I was having a conversation today with some colleagues and Bazooka Joe came up. Instantly my memory was flooded with the smell of that gum and it had a transporting effect -- not to a particular moment, but to a real sense of feeling good when I was a kid. All the time, yeah. It's half the reason I got into The BPAL craze for a while. Find a blend that hits one of those memory triggers and DUDE. I used to have a candle, that I bought entirely because it smelled exactly like a guy at summer camp. I wasn't into him in like, a boyfriend way, he was just one of the many big brothers I collected growing up, and the candle made me think of him, which took me to camp, and when you're in middle school and high school and it's winter, that's huge.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! The best is that I never know when it's going to happen, and since I'm so nostalgic by nature, I love being caught up in that Proustian looking backwards.
