A Change of Heart
Merlin glared at the door as the pounding increased. He'd barely started on the dozen shots he had lined up on the kitchen counter and it seemed someone was determined to give him a headache already.
"Alright," he grumbled, going to answer it, "Hang on." His jaw dropped as he opened the door and a smartly dressed, out of breath man with dishevelled blonde hair all but fell through the door into his flat. "Arthur?"
"Merlin."
"Arthur, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be getting married today." Merlin glanced at the television, which was not on. Which he had decided beforehand to unplug, on the off chance that he might decide after a few drinks that watching it would be a good idea and get even more depressed ( ... )
