He followed the sound of the banging and ranting down the hall. He wasn't sure if rescuing students from lockers actually fell into his job description, but seeing as no one was around he could make an exception.
Before opening the thing he leaned against one of the nearby lockers and smirked at it. "'avin' fun in there?"
The noise stopped immediately. "Just open the locker! It's lunch an' I didn't get ta eat anything!" Daxter practically whined. He hadn't had breakfast either and he was hungry enough to brave even the lunch guy's food.
Sniper was half tempted to leave him in there, but somewhere deep down in that crotchety body of his he actually did have a heart. He flipped it open, looking down at the fuzzy creature trapped inside..
"Depending on the time of day, existing is enough," the Ottsel groused, hoping out of the locker. It was actually his own, which could be told by how untidy it was. Unlike everyone else, he couldn't carry more than one class period's stuff at a time.
"Shame they don't make these things so they open from the inside." He looked at the inside of the locker door and the mechanism for a minute. "I could probably fix that."
"Yeah. I'd need stuff I don't have on me, but I could get it to open from the inside." Save Daxter from getting stuck in lockers and save Sniper from ruining his coffee break saving him, all at once!
He'd always been too tall to get shoved in lockers, but he got picked on plenty when he was younger, he can sympathize.

Daxter was unpopular to most people, which made him try harder to stand out.
"I can come back after an' see about helping or somethin' though."

Otherwise he might not need to worry about fixing that locker.

Daxter hopped down to the floor and smoothed back his ears. "Think I'll pester Jak for a vending machine lunch then."
