Second Bulletin ~ Public Announcement [Voice]

Afternoon pawns...er, instruments. Stride here.

Not that everyone will care to say so, we've noticed that the city lacks something. So, we're working on a few things in order to improve upon what's here already.

Your input is welcome, of course, but that doesn't mean we can or will put your opinions to good use.

godly maintainer: stride, god post

That doesn't sound at all suspicious.

[Amused.]

Glad to hear that you think so.

Mhm. Anything to contribute?

Nothing to contribute to your kind, no.

That's a shame since we're not the ones to benefit from it.

And nor are we, the only ones to benefit from your interventions will be the other ones who are watching.

Most times if someone asks for something and recieve it, they're considered to have benefited from it.

Everything has a price. Since you immediately used the term 'pawns', you're hardly going to do something for the good of the residents.

What makes you so sure? Not everything comes with a price and some things that do have already been paid for.

But, just because the offer is open doesn't mean you're required to ask anything.

I believe the term for this is 'preaching to the choir'.

Reply

a3stepnpc April 26 2010, 12:55:18 UTC
Well if it were then I wouldn't be. I'm not much for preaching.

At any rate, it boils down to, if it's paid for you get it, if it's not you might still get it. So if you want something say so, if not don't.

I'm merely curious what the wishes will all be. If it were me I'd wish for a cigatte store near my house.

Considering the fact that you said, "That doesn't mean we can or will put your opinions to good use", what you're saying now doesn't hold a great deal of water.

I would wish for you all to get knocked down onto an equal level but that isn't any more likely to happen without consequences than your desire.

And why would you wish for that? I've heard deities living as mortal can be quite troublesome in the opinions of mortals.

That might be a wish that could be granted in the near future though.

Even if you were capable of such a thing, those affected would likely be only those who are actually within this game rather than those observing.

Possibly, or not. How will you know which is the case if it were to happen?

You do bring an interesting bit of...something to the game though. I might be inclined to visit you sometime. <3
