Yeah. Unify means submit. Fuck that noise.

I was reallly disapppinted in our Pres and other leading Dems for not taking the chance on truth telling. They have nothing more to lose and this is NOT politics as usual. Tell the American people you KNOW that. Ugh.

Obama has to walk a delicate line here. He really can't come out and say much until he's out of office. I don't think we've heard the last word from him.

Obama is currently trying to keep the rest of the world from freaking out, and also trying to figure out how to slow the rising tide of Brexits and such coming down the pike. Enjoy Trump's support for Marine LePen in France...

I'm seeing a lot of that, too. I've also been told straight up that my fears are unfounded and I'm not going to lose my rights like I've been promised.

I have seen nothing so far that would tell me those fears are unfounded. Quite the opposite in fact.

I saw him saying something about how the whole nation needs to come together now, and all I could think of was that training video in "Doublemeat Palace" about the cow and the chicken coming together... "It was like Sleepless In Seattle if Tom and Meg were, like, minced."

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at that.

100% agreed. I got told by a Trump supporter (a straight white male from a rich & privileged background, of course) that we didn't have to like the president-elect, but that we had to "respect" him. I told him I didn't *have* to respect ANYBODY thanks to free speech, but he didn't want to listen. Interesting too that I have to respect Trump, but Trump & his basket of deplorables don't have to respect me as a woman or a member of the lgbtq community.

If you have been a long time reader of this blog, you are aware my children have never respected anyone who didn't earn it (including teachers). That obviously came from their parents and their parents aren't rolling over now.
