Smoke Gets in Your Nose

They say the sense of smell is one of the most evocative. I believe it. Certain odors can evoke strong memories in me, specific senses of time or place. Today it was wood smoke. Its true. Scent is a powerful sense for evoking memories. While humans don't have a powerful sense of scent, we have a strong connection between smells and long term memory.
