DC Chris Skelton and WPC Shaz Granger have ended their romance...

Oh no! Why!? Though I'm guessing it'll all be patched up by the end of the series.

It sounds like they're going to bridge the gap between Alex as we left her, deeper into her coma supposedly in the present, and Alex in 1983, pretty much straight from the off.
