Sorry I didn't get this up last week -- I was out of town staying with my mum while she had a hip replaced.  It went well.  Anyway, no harm; it appears series 2 won't start until sometime in April.  I'm ready for the publicity machine to start rolling!

This episode made me happy because it used Ray undercover and showed him being competent at it. It's one of my constant tunes -- A2A makes better use of the secondary cast than LoM did. (And according to Deano, continues that this year. Yays!)

Oh, and the reaction shots of Chris and Gene in the club are priceless. I must have made half-a-dozen icons.

One complaint I remember having (along w/ several other folks) from the original run is that it felt like the writers felt they had to give Marcus AIDS, either to add to the "period" feel of the show or just to moralize a bit.

Not a favourite episode so can't find too much to say, best part was the scenes with Gene and his informant and later in his office with Alex, his reaction to his death
