I met you when the stars were about to die, and you made coffin for them. I told you what you're doing is useless, cause stars don't want to be buried and they hate coffin. they want to be cremated, and their ashes should be put in tiny bottles and sold in beauty shop. girls call them glitters.

but you didn't believe everything I said. and I was mad at you. yes, we did have a big fight that night. so big that it shook the entire continent and drove stars mad. they were very mad at us. they attacked us with their blinding lights and infernal heat.

next thing I knew was I woke up inside your coffin. alone.

Someone pointed a gun against my head and I knew everything would be over. As a criminal I knew that it would end one day and being shot was a kind way to send me to the other world after all I've done. I could only pray I wouldn't have to suffer for too long. I didn't have to suffer at all. Out of nowhere you showed up and kicked the gunner in the crotch. It gave me the opportunity to crash my elbow into his stomach. You managed to grab his gun and we ran for our lives. From the very first moment I met you, I knew we would be perfect partners in crime.

From then on, we often journeyed together. We sometimes acted like a hero--helping those in needs, defending people from the idiots calling themselves tha authority but could only take money from their charges. Sometimes, we do stupid things, but we always had a lot of fun together. Along our journey, we made a priomise, that we'd always be partners.l

I saw you in a club, in the split second when the strobe hitched before it let out another color, another flash of light. I caught your eyes, vivid and alive. They were arresting. I couldn't help it. I approached you, diving through the throng of sweaty bodies.

"Hey, baby," I said when I reached you, whispering close in your ear so you could hear me despite the loud, racy music that made you want to writhe your body along with it. "Lonely tonight?"

You gave me a little coy smile and lowered your eyelids, looking up at me between dark lashes. "That must be the worst pick up line ever," you said.

"You don't seem to mind." I smiled, playing along.

"No." You winked. Already, your hand was slithering up my chest to hook behind my neck.

*brain breaking*

"That's good," you say, as you returned the gesture by placing your soft hand on my lower back.

"So," I started, looking up into your eyes as I slid my other hand up, up, up to your shoulder, "Aren't you going to ask me for a dance?"

You chuckled at that, and though I could barely hear your rich voice, I stil felt it by the slight shaking of your shoulders. "Right, right, of course," you said, and moved both hands to my waist. "Shall we dance?"

And then we swayed to the music.,

"Shall I tell you a secret?" I whispered again when you were half-lost to the rhythm. The loud bass created small earthquakes in your ribcage. You heart beat madly, in tune with the music.

I savored your smell. Clean sweat and traces of soap. No cheap-ass perfume. I appreciated that.

"Hmm?" You said against my chest. Lips wet on my collarbone.

I traced one finger up the side of your neck. The pulse was so strong there. Blood rushing just beneath the surface. My mouth watered.

"I'm a vampire." I flicked out my tongue to play with the lobe of your ear. Sniffing the side of your face, then dragged my nose down to the space between your ear and neck, where the skin was the thinnest.

You stilled. Hands tightened on my shoulders. I could smell your fear, palpable and so utterly delicious.

"I won't kill you," I said and might even actually mean it.
