I don't really like fics about gods, since I think there is only one God (unles the stories are about Greek gods or something, I love myths). I don't really like that Tezuka is a god candidate, but well, they're angels. I don't really mind fics about angels ^_^ And it was cute, Fuji playing harp to make Tezuka fall asleep ^__^ So sweet. And Fuji being General of the Special Anti-Riot Force is really funny. So Fuji-like XD

Hehe, it's okay. You know when writing this the concept of 'God' in my head isn't the 'God' as in 'Jesus' or 'Allah'. I also believe in only one God, you see.

But in Indonesia, we have 2 concepts of God, and they also have different terms. The 'God' as in 'Allah' or 'Jesus', is 'Tuhan' in Indonesian, while 'God' as in the Gods in Greek or Roman mythology, or the Gods in Japanese belief (you know Japanese have lots of Gods ne? XD) are called 'Dewa'. The concept of Dewa is much more like mythical and fictional being than the real God (Tuhan). While writing this, the God that I mention here was this 'Dewa' so it doesn't bother me. But since English only has one term for them which is 'God', I can understand that you don't like it. Since in my head Tezuka is a candidate for 'Dewa', I'm okay with it. But I would've been bothered too, to hear that there are candidates for 'Tuhan' ^^

Anyway thanks! I also thought that position suits Fuji very much, ne? XD

In Dutch there is also only one word for 'God', but when we talk about the one God , we write it with a capital and when talking a Greek god or something, we write it with a small letter.

I knew you also believe in one God, so I was a bit surprised when I read that Tezuka was a candidate for god, but now I understand. Thanks for explaining ^_^

I liked the setting of the story, 'cause I've always had a fascination (sort of) with heaven's hierarchy (well, something like that, at least). And it's so like Fuji to refuse a high status just because he doesn't want it, LOL. And I guess their level of companionship is pretty high, ne, since they seem so comfortable with each other. It's like Fuji is the one who could soothe all of Tezuka's problems away. So cute!

Oh, and about the conflict on having only one God (I just read it in one of the comments, and I'm so sorry for butting in). I don't really have any problems with it when it comes to fiction, but I usually see the term "God" when referring to the one supreme being, and "god" (not capitalized) when it's a demi-god (pardon the lack of an appropriate term), like those in myths.
